it is set in the time of World War 2. The main characters name is Adam a boy who has moved to Bakersfield from Hawaii because of the War, he has met some new people but is having a rough time. He receives at letter from his friend David from Hawaii, David and his family were accused of being spy’s and helping the Japanese attack because they are originally from Japan. The letter said that it needed to be delivered to his dad witch had been taken away by the FBI and was being held at the Sand Island Country Club. So, Adam traveled to the Sand Island Country Club to find out that David’s dad wasn’t there and was moved to a camp in Manzanar. When Adam got home his mom was really upset at him because he was not allowed to go help find David’s father because he was Japanese. Adam snuck out again and caught a train to Manzanar. When he got there he didn’t just meet David’s Dad he meet David’s family.

I hated this book because it had no Plot and no ending it was not entertaning.
