Jordan Tyler writes the following about How to be Popular :
The book How to be Popular is a great book for a girl around the age of fifteen or sixteen. This book explains a problem of a teenage girl who wants to be popular in school. I liked this book because it explains to you that you don’t have to be popular to be liked or loved. Also, it tells you that what you think is love may put a camouflage on certain people. The person that you truly love gets pushed away by you because of you thinking that you need to be popular. In the book, the main character, Stephanie gets this book from her grandfather’s girlfriend that shows you how to become popular. She listens to the book and then becomes popular. She gains new friends but her two best friends basically get pushed away. Then she realizes that some of her new friends aren’t truly her friends.
