Stephanie writes the following about Hoot :
Hoot is a wonderful book about the adventures Roy and his two new friends, Beatrice, and her mysteric brother, only known as Mullet Fingers. They encounter many things as they try to save the burrowing owls that inhabit the construction site of the new Mother Paula's All-American Pancake House. The kids risk everything to save them, while battling lifes many problems. Nothing can tear thier family bond. I’m not one that loves reading, but I enjoyed Hoot very much. I think that Hoot is a great story about friendship, determination, passion and strength. This is a MUST READ!!
