Makalah writes the following about Out of the Dust (Newbery Medal Book) :
OUT OF THE DUST is a story about a girl named Billie JO. She was born on the kicten floor. Her dad wanted a baby boy insted of a girl. The sitting is in Okahoma in 1934\1935 and they were also in the dust bowl. the characters are Billie JO, father, mom ,and her baby brother. Her baby brother died when he was born her mother died when she had her baby brother.

This book has a lot of details. And very good imagery . It had excellent figurtive lang. This book can not be put down. IT kept my interest. This book had a very good ending. Their were no weakness.

I really recommend this book to many readers. Readers that like historcal fiction. And they want to learn more about the 1934's/ 1935's. And people who like sad stories and action at the same time.
