Josh writes the following about Out of the Dust (Newbery Medal Book) :
Out Of The Dust
This novel is about a girl who was born in the house she was the only child for a while. Then she accidently threw kerosene out and it hit her mother. When mother was having the baby the baby and the mother past away.

The strength in this book is that the author wrote it so strong. When there where bad thing happening the weakness are that it was sad and happy.

I recommeded this book because there was a lot of interest in this book and there is some action like the dust storm.
