Justin writes the following about Out of the Dust (Newbery Medal Book) :
The setting of this book is in Oaklahoma, 1934-1935.The characters of this book are Billy Jo, Daddy, and mother. The main events of this book are when mother and the baby die, and when everybody starts dieing from the dust bowl.
The strengths of this book are that it had alot of good parts in it. The weaknesses of this book are that it could of been longer.
I recomend this book to be read by other people because it is sad and it is a very good book. I liked it alot.
