green14 writes the following about schooled :
Schooled is a 208 page fiction book written by Gordon Korman. The retell of this book is the main character, Capricorn Anderson, gets arrested fo driving without a license. His grandma, Rain, fell out of a tree while picking plums and is taken to the hospital. Mrs. Donnelly comes to the hospital to take Cap to live with her. Cap now goes to a public school called Claverage and then meets Hugh Winkleman and Zack Powers who shows him around school. Zack nominates Cap for class president because he's weird and he won. Hugh's using Cap so he's not the target. Zack and Naomi Erlanger is playing tricks on Cap because he's president. When Cap burries the dead bird, Naomi starts to like him. Sophie Donnelly's dad came to visit and left, so Cap gave her driving lessons. The bus driver had a heart attack and Cap had to drive the bus to the hospital. Students start to like Cap. The principle gives Cap a checkbook and cap starts to give the money away. Darryl punches Cap and Cap is taken to the hospital. Rain got out of the hospital and Cap moved back to Garland. The check bounce and the dance got cancelled. Everyone planned a memorial for Cap because they all thought he died. Sophie finds Cap and took him to the memorial. Rain sells Garland and moves to Claverage. I would give this book a 6 because I didn't really enjoy the book, but it was kind of good. If I could change it I would change how the people talk.
