Baller25 writes the following about Sleeping Freshman Never Lie :
Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie is a 279 paged realistic fiction written by David Lubar. The main character in the story is a boy named Scott and is a little bit about his friends Patrick, Kyle, and Mitch. These boys have been friends all through their life in a town not much different than where I live. When they got to High School, they seemed to have decided to just go their own way. The main character (Scott) turned out to be a little bit of a nerd. He seemed to always get wound up in front of someone bigger than himself. He learned to avoid these bullies when he made a new friend named Wesley who is a senior and plays on the football team. Scott also finds a friend named Lee and they go to the prom together. Right after the prom, Scott’s mom has a baby. Scott has been writing to the baby the whole time that it was in his mother's stomach. I rated this book 8.5 out of 10 because I would have liked it better if Scott and his best friends didn’t go different ways. Something that I would have changed about this book is that Scott, Kyle, Patrick, and Mitch stayed friends. Losing their friendship will probably be burning a hole in their hearts for the rest of their lives!
