baconater writes the following about The Giver :

I like the giver because its a thinking book and its sooooooooo easy to get into! I also like the giver because at every end of the chapter it asks really good questions to keep you reading. Its also action pact!!!!!!!!! Anyway, the giver is about Jonhas turning 13 and getting the hardest job. Jonhas is being trained by the giver. Everyone says it is going to be painful. Jonhas has to stay with that same job forever. Will it be painful for Jonhas ? Go read the giver to find out!!!!!!!
