Nomad812 writes the following about Zach's Lie :
Zach’s Lie is a 211 page novel. The author is Roland Smith and this book is a realistic fiction. The main character is a boy named Jack Osborne. Jack’s father is a drug trafficker who works with a man named Alonzo Aznar. Alonzo and his men storm into Jack house and threaten to kill Jack his mom and Jack’s sister Joanne unless Jack’s father continues to help fly illegal drugs to The U.S. This book takes place in modern time. Jack gets put in the witness protection program along with his family except his dad. I would give this book 9 out of 10 because it was very exciting but it explains a lot about Zack Granger, Jack’s new name and his life in Elko Nevada which got a little boring. I would give the illustrations 6 out of 10 because there was one picture and It was hard to visualize some things. I think Zach’s father should have been with Jack and his family in Elko instead of going to jail.
