Kitty-Kat writes the following about Carrie :
Carrie White, a misunderstood teenage girl with the TK gene, lives with her mother Margaret White, who is deeply religious. The Tk gene is passed down by family members. Scientists in the book belive that it is what causes telekinesis, a power in which one can move objects using the mind alone. Carrie is prevoked by her classmates, mainly because she is more religious than them. Whenever Carrie is upset things seem to fall or move on their own. One day when Carrie gets her first peroid, she learns she can now use her power at will. Carrie is filled with rage over her teasing classmates, her unbalanced mother, and her life, which in her words is, "Just one big, dirty trick." What will Carrie do to stop the maddness in her life, especilly since she now knows she has control over others with telekinesis?
