This book is so cool! My school read it as a class novel and everyone loved it. We did so many fun activities. This book is great because the author is very precise so we could actually make a very exact visual picture in our mind without even seeing the illustrations. I would definately recommend this book to a student if I were a librarian. The story's plot is very cleverly written about Cara Landry, the new girl. I could give an exact description of what she looks like and here it is: She is medium hight, her brown hair always tied into a neat ponytail. She wears a white blouse, brown kilt, white socks and black shoes. Her teacher is Mr. Larson. Even thought he won teacher of the year 3 years in a row, he doesn't teach anything. He only sits at his desk, in his incredibly book-and-magazine covered classroom and using a stack of books as a table, reads the news and sips coffee from his red thermos and coffee mug.
