T. D. writes the following about The Watsons Go to Birmingham 1963 :
This book is about a family that is living in 1963. It takes place in Flint, Michigan and in Birmingham, Alabama. The family explains their life during the time that blacks weren't treated equally.

The Watsons Go to Birmingham by Christopher Paul Curtis is realistic fiction that takes place in the past. An audience that would enjoy this book would be people that are interested in funny and amusing books. I would say that this is one of the best books that I have ever read, and it is one of those books that you should definitely not judge by its cover.
