Patrick Mangum writes the following about Yellow Line :
My book was Yellow Line by Sylvia Olsen. I liked this book. The book is about problems of people my age. I also liked it because the book keeps you interested. It doesn't just give things aways, it leads you up to it. I recommend this book because it is a good interesting book you won't want to put down. The book is about a boy and a girl of different races falling in love with each other. This is still in segregated times so the so the parents don't agree with it. The girls best friend doesn't either until he falls in love with a girl of the other race. This book is similar to most books with segregation. The two races live across a bridge from each other. They don't really talk and the don't bother each other. I think it is a great book that brings people to get over segregation and accept people for who they are. I would rate this book a nine out of ten. The story line is great. It is just short. It kind of leaves you hanging at the end of the book. The book just kind of ends. it needs at least one more chapter. Otherwise it is a great book.
