SAS24 writes the following about Nancy Drew #18 Mystery of the Moss- Covered Mansion :
Do you want to read a book that always leaves you hanging at the end of each chapter to always make you keep reading, and you are always wondering what’s going to happen to Nancy, because she is curious, and gets herself into danger. If you want to read the Nancy Drew series, then you should start at book #1, and go on to book #56. Nancy Drew #18 Mystery of the Moss-Covered Mansion is a 177-page mystery story, by Carolyn Keene. The main characters, in this book, are Nancy Drew, Bess Marvin, George Fayne, the Nickerson’s Hannah Gruen, Mr. Drew, N.A.S.A., and the FBI. Nancy, Mr. Drew, Hannah Gruen, Bess Marvin, and George Fayne all live in River Heights, and the story takes place there, and also in Cape Canaveral, because somebody took exploding oranges and put them into the Kennedy Space Center. They stole Mr. Billington’s Truck, and delivered the exploding oranges to the Kennedy Space Center. Also, in Merritt Island, because Mr. Billington’s house is on Merritt Island, and Nancy and her friends are staying at his house while they solve the mystery of the exploding oranges, and prove that Mr. Billington is innocent. What they are doing is trying to prove Mr. Billington is innocent, for the exploding oranges being put into the Kennedy Space Center, by his truck, and uncovering the moss-covered mansion’s secrets, and in the mansion Nancy finds hidden rooms, and they had animals training for an unknown circus, and a black jaguar almost attacked Nancy, and upstairs there was a telescope facing N.A.S.A. The two plots connect, because while investigating the exploding oranges in Florida, that were in the Kennedy Space Center, Nancy visited friends that told her that her dad should buy a house, that they had saw, not far away from there, and when they went there, Nancy saw creepy property of a hidden house next door, and Nancy was curious, so she found the moss-covered mansion, and while on her way there, a black jaguar almost attacked Nancy. I rate the book a nine, because it was a really good book, and I enjoy mysteries and the danger Nancy gets into, and can’t put the book down. I would change the book, so that there would be more information about the Kennedy Space Center, because I’ve been their, and I think that it is awesome there, and I think that other people should know more about the Kennedy Space Center.
