This is an excellent book about time travel. When Patricia's parents send her to her cousins cottage for the summer while they sort out the details of their divorce she knows that she is not going to have a good summer vacation. She is not good at any of the things her cousin's do for fun and she is especially not good at making new friends. However Patricia does not know that there is a watch in the floorboards of the house that can take her back in time to when her mother was a little girl her age....
