betty writes the following about Cut :
Cut is a book about a place called Sea Pines were girls with health problems stay at. There are girls with food issues, substance abuse issues and assorted psychos. The main character, Callie is one of the girls considered assorted psychos. Callie hurts her self and seems the one with bigger problems. She is always quiet and never shows emotion to any one. As the story continues we see Callie trying to change. She ends up talking even thuogh it's hard for her.

Cut is a wonderful book that allows you to see the girls reasons for their problems. The main characeter Callie deals with a big problem were she hurts her self. I agree with Amber White's review that says you dont have to be or know some one dealing with this issues to be abel to connect with the book. I dont deal with any of these problems and i thought it was a great book. 14 year old Amber also talks about how the author Patricia McCormick brings such life to all the characters. I agree with this its so easy for me to imagine the girls and especially Callie. I would recommend this book to everyone because its great.
