GusGus writes the following about Cut :
The book is about a young girl in her mid-teen years. She is sent to Sea Pines a residential treatment facilty for help. Her parents found out that Callie (the young girl)was cutting herself. Callie doesn't understand why she is cutting herself, but she uses it as a relief from the neglection and pain she feels inside. She isn't very social when she is sent away to Sea Pines, she keeps to herself alot. She doesn't feel she should even be in the "crazy place" as she may call it, but she seems to not have a choice.
