Kassie King writes the following about Cut :
Cut is a book about a girl named Callie. She is a 15 year old girl who lives in a residential treatment facility and doesn?t speak to anybody. Her parents and doctor sent her to Sea Pines after finding out that she cuts herself, but she doesn't know why she does it. As she recovers her voice, she confronts the family with her destructive behavior. She also starts to understand all the other issues that the other young women?s are confronting with. I would rate this book as a 10 because this could really happen and it put you in the shoes as one of the characters and that makes you understand what Callie is going through. I enjoyed this book because I like to see the main character in different point of views.
