Katie writes the following about My Sweet Audrina :
My Sweet Audrina Vanda Productions 1982 $7.99 pp 426 V.C. Andrews 0-671 Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the shadow of your radiant dead older sister, that your father worships, or an evil half sister, that is always trying to get back at you? In My Sweet Audrina you get the best of both worlds. Who is the first Audrina? "Only a playroom safe in my home, got not tears, no fears, and nowhere else to roam, 'Cause my papa wants me always, To stay home, Safe in my playroom safe in my home...? Audrina sang as she rocked and the memories flooded back. She screamed out as the horror returned. Will she ever escape the grips of the desperate father that is constantly trying to turn her into her older sister? V.C. Andrews is a really good author when it comes to thought shots. Like when Audrina was in a coma we know what is going only in her head, "Do something to help me." Even though she is unconscious we still know what?s going on in her head. I really enjoyed this because it helped the book move along. I recommend people that read this book be older teens to adult, because some parts are inappropriate for children. I also recommend you read this book if you like to predict and guess what will happen next. V.C. Andrews loves to keep you guessing and forces you on to the next page. I also recommend this book to anyone that likes a realistic fiction book.
