Chantal writes the following about Ella Enchanted :

Ella Enchanted is a wonderful book. It is about a young girl who, when she was born recieved a gift from a fairy that wasn't quite a gift at all because it made her totally obedient. She had to do whatever anybody told her to do, even if it meant having to do something really horrible. This book tells what happens to Ella as she grows older and finds new friends and tries to break the spell/gift. This is a really great book to read because it has a little bit of sadness, happiness, and a generous dose of humor!
