Watership Down by Richard Adams is a great book not only for people who love animals, but also for people who love adventure. The story is about a band of rabbits who escape a terrible tragedy at their warren and are on a search to find a new home. They run into many difficulties along the way, but finally reach Watership Down. I think that the story is great for all audiences, because it includes loyalty, faith, love, hatred, friendship, envy, and adventure, and every good novel has something to that extent. The fact that the author makes Watership Down and the personification of the rabbits so realistic only adds to the perfection of this book. Granted, as some times the book did seem to drag on, but all in all, Watership Down is a guaranteed good read.
