In this book "they did what?!?" is a fact book (non-fiction), and you can find so much information in this book that it sometimes makes your brain hurt a lot. I really enjoyed this book because it didn't take me long to finish it. It tells you stuff that happened 100 years ago. Like bathtub races and pumpkin races! Some of this stuff is unbelievable I cannot believe some of this stuff. Like some of the ice cream flavors back then were: Liver beef* shudder*. Anyway I was completely glued to this book I rate it a 4 out of 4!
Also here are some fun facts!
Paddle your pumpkin
Racing bathroom objects not your style?
A similarly challenging event in Windsor, Nova Scotia involves contestants racing mammoths hollowed out pumpkins which can weigh between 225-410 km, and 900 pounds across a lake usually two to three pumpkins sink each year. Every year most often because the tops of the pumpkins were cut off to low, allowing them to easily fill with water. Sink or swim one thing for sure there are enough pumpkins seeds to go around for everyone.
