Artemis Fowl, a smart, teenage boy, is too smart for his own good. He always get Bulter, his bodyguard, and himself in danger, and in The Eternity Code he gets them involved with a dangerous, high priced broker from Chicago, John Spiro. Artemis wants to show Spiro the C Cube, a computer/cell phone device that’s smaller than a PDA, but Spiro finds out the Artemis isn’t willing to sell it. He gets mad and a fight breaks out, leaving Artemis in big trouble. The only person that can help him is a fairy that hates him.
The Eternity Code is set in mostly Ireland, but Artemis and Bulter travel all around the world and even to the core of the earth where fairies live. He and the fairies have to work together to steal back the C Cube, which is made out of fairy technology. Artemis is faced to a battle of wits with Spiro as he tries to regain the C Cube and not let him find out about fairies and their technology. Will Artemis be able to get back the Cube or will Spiro uncover the mystery and expose the fairies?
The Eternity Code is the third book in the Artemis Fowl series. The Eternity Code is for anyone that likes to read sci-fi and adventure books. Eoin Colfer made this book a real page-turner; I wasn’t able to put down the book until I was finished with it. This book has a lot of imagery so it feels like a movie in your head. I recommend all kids to read this book if they want a good read.
