Brittany Harley writes the following about The Alchemist :
The book the Alchemis is never what you expect. Santiago is always growing as a person, whether or not he is going through a good, bad, or hard experience. I throughly enjoyed everything in this book. I loved how it doesn't matter what type of person you are you can some how relate to what Santiago goes through. The Alchemis, I think send out a great message to all types of people of different ages, which is to always follow your dreams. This book shows a lot of lessons in which in life, that can take years to accomplish. Santiago expresses what he think is the language of the world, which is love. When I read this part of the book I was truly inspired in what Santiago had to say. I loved how he explained that love is something that everyone can understand, and it is how everything connects. I like when Santiago says this because it shows that although everyone is different we share one thing, and that is love.
