vanilla ice writes the following about The Child Called It :
A Child Called It, by Dave Pelzer, is a book about a child that grew up being abused. Actuall the author of this book is telling his life story. This book was excellent. This is one of the books that just make you stop and think about what is going on in the world. The author, Dave Pelzer, is the main character. His mother does some horrible things to him. He lives in the basement, he is starved every day, and does all the chores. His father tries to help, but the marriage doesn't work out so he has to leave. Dave gets something called the bathroom treatment. This makes him caugh up blood and it makes it hard for him to breathe. He survives any and everything done to him. with his only protector, his father, does he stand a chance of living? I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes to read or is looking for a good book.
