Caritole writes the following about Jar of Dreams :

The book that I'm reading is "A Jar of Dreams", by Yoshiko Uchida. This book is about an eleven year old girl named Rinko.She doesn't like the way she is,she doesn't want ot be different from the students from her class.All her classmates make fun of her because because she's from Japan. One day her aunt Waka comes to California and teaches Rinko to love herself. Many things change in Rinko's house,including herself. I recomand this book to all people of all ages, mostly to the people who had to restart their lives in adifferent country, with no friends and a different culture.
