This book sounded entertaining when I bought it from my local Borders. The allure of a new Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' book did not fail to excite me.
Yet I found myself to be somewhat disappointed at the end of the book. Jessica Allodola was total bitch, which, I suppose I can't blame her for it, considering. But how can any of the readers connect with her? Near the end, I was rooting for Fala to finish her off.
Don't get me wrong... Demon In My View was wonderfully crafted tale- concocted with plot twists and rich detail. I would reccomend this to anybody who likes the show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," or anyone who is into the supernatural.
However, as I will mention again, the only flaw in Demon is the main character herself, Jessica. I mean, she's tolerable, I guess, but she's so irritating, at least to me.
My rating of this book is a 7 out of 10.
