wright at CEE writes the following about Hatchet :
Have you ever thought of being in a plane crash? Well the boy in this story was in a plane crash because the pilot had a heart attack. The plane landed in a pond in a woods close to Canida. Have you ever thought of living in the woods for a very long time? Well Brain was there for a very long time.He does all he can do to get to the sunken ship to get a life bag. When he gets the life bag he finds a homing devise and he leaves it alone on the ground and soon it contacs a plane and it takes him home.
