Fiona writes the following about Cut :
I picked up this book because, when I was looking in the bookstore for some new books, the name drew me in. When I read this book, I was going through some tough times; and this happened to be the very idea of my current problems. When I read the book, I just could not put it down. Once, I was reading it in my English class for free reading, and when my teacher came around and saw the book, she suggested that I read it instead of my other book for an upcoming project. Now, she is an absolte pain, I mean, she didnt accept THREE of my friends choice books! She is very picky, and I was completly excited when she had said that. I read the book twice over, then went back and read it twice again and highlighted what would help with the project. Then, I read it one more time to pay close attention to how her mother comes into the story; then again to pay close attention to the things she says in her head before she spoke to anyone; and then one final time, just taking in the whole thing. I was completly mezmorised by the book! It felt so real, as if you had gone through that yourself, and it was somewhat based on someone's story.
