Ella Enchanted Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine is a hilarious book where Ella is under a spell! This is a horrible spell! No matter what, Ella must obey an order. A request Ella is free to ignore, but any order that is said to her, Ella must do that order. If someone told her to scream for a week without stopping, she would have to scream for a week without stopping. I liked the part where Ella went to a giant?s wedding. Gail Carson Levine wrote Ella Enchanted, which is filled with fantasy, but also with a twist of reality. Ella is the main character in the book Ella Enchanted. Ella?s cook, Mandy (who?s also a fairy) helped Ella throughout the book. Lucinda was the one who put a spell on Ella. Char is the prince and the boy Ella loves. Other characters are Hattie, Olive, and Dame Olga who are Ella?s mean stepsisters and stepmother. Other books that are similar to Ella Enchanted are the fairytale Cinderella (but this book is for older people) and any other books that have magic and spells in them such as Charmed the book series or the Harry Potter book series. I didn?t dislike any part of this book. In fact, Ella Enchanted is one of my favorite books. I recommend Ella Enchanted to anyone who likes books with fantasy in them and books with magic in them. If you love curling up with a book with suspense, romance, and fantasy, then you should read Ella Enchanted.
