I read the book after the bomb. By Gloria D. Miklowitz. I really like the book it was very true to what would happen if a nuclear bome was launched at us, and what it would be like after it if we survived. This story takes place in california in the towns surounding LA. Troughout the story there is constantly something happening. I give this book a nine. Why would i give this book such a high rating. BEcause it was a good bool. Very well writen it was a book that onve you started reading you couldnt put the book down. As you read the book you can actualy picture whats happening. The words send vibrant picturs into your head. Very good book. The main characters in the story are phillip who is the younger brother of matt. Matt has a girl friend name cara, Who phillip secretly likes her and has ever since her first saw her. WHen there lives are changer when a nuclear bomb is launched at them. Phillip has to take charge to save them all. Will they survive. YOu will find out when you read this book.
