KYLE BOOGIE :-) writes the following about The Giver :

I think this book was an O.K. book. At sometimes it was confusing, but i understanded it later in the book. The book is about a boy named Jonas in his little "perfect" comunity. I, personnally dindn't think it was perfect, as there is no pain and no fear, and no emotions, now thats just not right. These "Nuriters" are realeasers now let me tell you wat a realese is WARNING for thoses of you that have NOT read the book do not read ahead! A realeses is when you take a shot and inject it into your vaines. 7 sec. later, you very sadly DIE. and the reason why i sead no emotions is wrong is because when the murdernurteres (what I call them) have no Affection when they die they just throw them in the garbage disposal and jonass dad is a realeser. i dont want to spoil the book, but thats a little treat.
