writes the following about Pictures of Hollis Woods :
Who's been abandoned at birth? Who's been is so many fosture homes she almost can't remeber them all? Who is a true artist? Hollis Woods. Hollis Woods runs away from one of the families who is offering Hollis a home and a family...the Regans. Hollis moves in with with an old retired artist who starts forgeting things. Hollis begins to skip school to take care of her new gurdian. Social Workers appear at Hollis's home to investigate. Hollis loves her new home and wants to stay. Hollis Woods thinks of the Regans and remebers pictures and moments of her past with them. Hollis Woods is a touching story that you never want to stop reading. I loved Hollis would and I think Patricia Reilly Giff has done it again with this Neberry Award winner.
