Miroslva Escobedo writes the following about Small Steps :
This story is about a girl named Peg. At the begging Peg gets sick and her parents then later find out that she has three types of polio and that she can't move or walk. Peg goes to the University Hospital and meets her doctor and has a crush on him. Later in the story Peg starts to walk. At the end Peg goes to school and starts to get better. I reccomend this book because it is sad and it talks about how people can suffer a lot through diseases like these. I only gave the story a 10.10 rating because I think this story was really great.
