Twitch writes the following about Carrie :
Carrie is about a girl, subjected to a life of hash godliness b ehr mother, talked about and teased at school, and has one very special gift.
This gift is telelkineses. Carrie can move things and do things without lifting a finger. But her mother has conivnced her it'sthe devils gift, along with various other things, some natural and not devilish at all.
At sixteen, Carrie has her first perios, an awkwardly late experience she knew nothing about. After being humialited by starting this cyle in the girls shower room at school, her power grows more intense.
Carrie is asked out by her dream date, Tommy, but is sometimes conviced it's a cruel trick. Tommy's orginal date for the prom was Sue Snell, but hs begged Tommyto take Carrie and make her join the school society.
After having her prom ticket lifted, Chris, the Carrie's biggest tormentor, wants revenge on Carrie for being the cause ofher suspension fromt he prom.
So, when Carrie and Tommy are elected prom king and queen (only after Carrie used her special power to put her (possibly murderous) mother into a closet she had spent so many of her afternoons weeping in for her'sins' so she could go to the prom with no trouble from anyone) pigs blood is poured over Carrie, Chris's cruel trick. Carrie, with her raging hormones and telekenictic power, sets the school gym on fire. Running away.
Carrie later dies.
Carrie was made out of fictional re-counts of the event and other evens evolving around the strange Carrie White, the re-counts told by those who saw these.
As Stephen Kings first novel, i give it 10/10, Stephen King with his first Master Peice.
