Salman writes the following about Matilda :
The book Matilda is about a very smart little girl. By the time she was three years old she knew how to read. Her father was a crook and sold crummy second-hand cars for high prices. Her parents were very rude to Matilda and insulted her nearly every day. When Matilda was six, her parents sent her to school at Crumchem Hall Primary School. The principal of this school, Miss Truchbull, hated kids. Discipline was her motto. She loved giving punishments such as throwing her unlucky pupils out of the window. Matilda's teacher, Miss Honey, was very nice. She was amazed at Matilda's skills. She gave Matilda some sixth grade work to do during class. Every Tuesday the Trunchbull came to Miss Honey's class to drill the children. Matilda's friend Lavender put a newt in Miss Truchbull's glass just before she came in. The Truchbull blamed Matilda for it. Matilda was so mad she tiped the glass and the newt onto the Trunchbull with her eyes. She didn't even know she had powers. Later on Matilda told Miss Honey. Miss Honey told Matilda that the Truthful was her aunt and had raised her. Miss Honey had to rent a tiny cottage because the Trunchbull had taken the house that should have been hers. Matilda formed a plan and the next time the Truchbull was in class she used her powers to write a message from the Trackball?s dead brother on the chalkboard telling her to give Miss Honey back her house and money. Everything works out perfectly in the end.
