diane writes the following about Thank You M'Am :
This story is about a lady my the day of Mrs.Luella Batas Washington Jones and a boy by the name of Roger.One night at about eleven o'clock Mrs. Jones was walking alone when Roger tries to snatch her purse. The strap of the purse broke,Rger fell to the ground and the she kicked him.Mrs Jones later brought him to her house so he could wash his face and offered him something to eat.They ate and then talking. Mrs. Jones ask him why he tried to snatch her pocketbook and he said that he wanted to buy a new blue suede shoes. Mrs.Jones told him that you don't always have to get what you want and you should not steal from other to satisfy yorself.She gave him the money so that he could buy those shoes he wanted.Before Roger was able to say thanks Mrs.Jones had already left and Roger never saw her again.
