Maria Thaman writes the following about Running Out of TIME :

This wonderful book was thrilling and exciting. I esecially liked how you never knew what the author was going to suprise you with next. Margaret Haddix does a superb job of explaining the main character to the reader. I also enjoyed the plot of the story. This is because every time you think you've got the book figured out the conflict takes an unexpected turn. Not always for the better. This book made me realize what I take for granted in my twenty-first centery life.
