I think this book is wonderful! i fell in love with this book!. But i can't imagine what it would be like to loose your intire family, have nowhere to go, and nothing worth living for anymore. Alice Hoffman did a wonderful job with this book and the characters! I myslef am writer and i love to read! i would recomend this book to most people. But i know a few who would find it a bit depressing. i have a friend who resently lost his mother and father. he turned to me during his time of sorrow. But Green had no one! nothing! i loved every last word of this book and could not put it down! I feel that i felt her pain. the needles and the thorns. i nearly cryed when i read it. the kids at the forgetting shack i felt like i was there! Standing watching the whole book a if it we a movie first in colour then after the fire in black and white. Alice Hoffman is a great writer and one of my many idols!
