this book was a really great outline of what life is like when your hometown is under seige it really opened my eyes to what goes on elsewhere i recommend it to anyone who likes a challenging truly fantastic story with a great plot and awesome characters if you want a good read out of a book THEN READ THIS!!!!!!! the characters are all headstrong and keep their chin up no matter what the situation i have read the whole series and the 1st of the ellie chronicles and i wish the second ellie chronicles would hurry up and get on paper congratulations on a job well done Mr. Marsden
